The Vice-Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, Prof. Julius Kola Oloke, and his team comprising the Principal officers of the University paid a courtesy visit to BASICS-II IITA, moniya Ibadan.
The visit was aimed at establishing collaboration and a strong partnership between PCU and IITA. According to Prof. Oloke, PCU seeks partnership and collaboration with IITA on these areas:
Exchange of ideas on entrepreneurship most especially on Agriculture
To collaborate with professionals like IITA
Students’ Industrial Training
Enhancement of Agribusiness
To tap on different available opportunities
To partner with IITA in setting up large scale farming
To participate in the Cassava Outgrower Scheme of the Institute.
Reacting to these, Prof. Friday Ekeleme who stood in for Prof. Lateef Sanni, Head of the Unit, assured that, the Institute is ready to collaborate with PCU on the aforementioned areas.
However, the process of signing the Memorandum of Understating is ongoing. The Vice-Chancellor and his team were taken around some of the units of the Institute, most especially the Cassava Processing Unit.
