As a University committed to equipping her staff and students, as well as creating an enabling environment for growth, PUCRID center was born.
PUCRID, an acronym for Precious Cornerstone University Center for Research, Innovation, and Discoveries, is dedicated to fostering excellence in research and learning for academic and non-academic staff, and students.

During the opening of the Center, The Vice Chancellor, Professor Julius Oloke, expressed his burning anticipation to see the center active and running. The Registrar Dr. Pedetin Afolabi, applauded this feat.

According to Mr. Emmanuel Adeniyi, the center stands on the pillar of creativity, practical experience, and personal growth for societal development. “The Center will become the hub for discovering facts and information about pressing societal issues, encouraging intellectual conversations as well as designing interventions for the University’s host community. By this, the university will contribute immensely to converting knowledge gained to actionable steps for societal growth. It will also open avenues for collaborations”.
The Vision of PUCRID which is to Advance Quality Research; Strengthen and promote knowledge and research in all fields of study; and distribute scientific and technical knowledge to researchers, businesses, was demonstrated evidently in the organization of a Maiden Seminar themed Sleep in partnership with the Efun Community Landlord/Tenants Association. The Seminar recorded over 100 participants from the community.
PUCRID’S team is headed by Dr. Odelade as the Director and Mr. Felix Okunlola functions as the Chairman, Research and Linkages.
