RESUMPTION FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
This is to inform returning and prospective fresh students that the 2024/2025 Academic Session will commence on Sunday, 20 October, 2024.
The Calendar is as follows:
Students are to take note of the following:
PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES:
Details of school fees and mode of payment are available on each student’s portal. Students are advised to make all payments on their portal as payments made through Banks are not allowed. Students are allowed to pay their school fees in four installments as follows: 50% at resumption, 70% before the beginning of first semester examination, 90% at resumption for second semester and 100% before second semester examination. REGISTRATION FOR COURSES
The registration portal will be open for all returning students to complete their registration for courses within two weeks of resumption.
Registration after the first two weeks of resumption will attract a financial penalty of N10,000.00k, until six weeks into resumption. The Registration portal will close after six weeks of resumption and any student who fails to register by then will automatically forfeit his studentship for the session.
DRESS CODE
Students are reminded that the University places a strong importance on modest and befitting dressing for students. They are therefore reminded that compliance with the dress code at all times is expected of them and any deviation constitutes an offence for which defaulters will be made to face disciplinary actions. The dress code is below:
PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE AT LECTURES AND OTHER UNIVERSITY OFFICIAL PROGRAMMES
Students are expected to be punctual and regular at lectures, Sunday and Wednesday Community Services. The University frowns at absenteeism and lateness to lectures and other University functions.
CLEANLINESS AND MAINTENANCE OF UNIVERSITY PROPERTY
The University expects students to maintain cleanliness of their environments at all times. The proper disposal of trash and use of wash/rest rooms, classrooms and other locations in the University is encouraged at all times. Students are therefore enjoined to pay close attention to this. Also, University property should be handled with care. Students will replace any University property damaged by them.

DRESS CODE FOR ALL STUDENTS
Precious Cornerstone University is a faith-based Institution which attaches much importance to the appearance and dressing of her students. It is therefore compulsory that all students take note of the Dress code which is operational in the school and abide by it. Any deviation from the dress code constitutes an offence and therefore punishable under the laws of the School.
DRESS CODE FOR MALE STUDENTS
All male students are to be corporately dressed at all times during school hours;
- They are to attend all official functions such as lectures, examinations, Chapel services, convocation/matriculation ceremonies etc in a pair of trousers with belt, long/short sleeved shirts (properly tucked in) and a befitting tie (bow/long tie);
- Wearing of T-Shirts to official functions is not allowed; these can only be worn for sports and after official hours in the hostel;
- Trousers/shorts reaching to the knees and a befitting top (T-shirt/Shirt) must be worn at all times in the hostel;
- Shoes and socks must be worn to complement dressing at all times;
- Shirts are to be properly tucked in and collars well positioned; no flying of collars and shirts
- Sleeves of shirts are to be buttoned at all times;
- Traditional attires may be worn to church services and on Fridays, with matching caps and leather slippers/shoes;
The following are prohibited:
- Wearing of slippers and flip-flops during official programmes or school hours;
- Wearing of chains, beads, earrings by male students;
- Wearing of T-Shirts with weird/immoral/sensitive inscriptions;
- Walking around in the hostel in boxers and singlets/underwears;
- Wearing bushy/tangled/unkempt/weird hairstyles and bushy beards;
- Sagging of trousers, wearing of torn and frail jeans, clinging and tight trousers;
- Tattoos of any part of the body
Wearing of the school Identity Card is part of dressing which must be adhered to at all times
DRESS CODE FOR FEMALE STUDENTS
- All female students are to be corporately dressed at all times during school hours;
- They are to attend all official functions such as lectures, examinations, chapel services, convocation/matriculation ceremonies and other University programmes in well made dresses, skirts and blouses/shirts, pair of pant trousers with blouse/shirt; skirt suits/ jackets worn over camisole;
- All dresses and skirts must not be above the knee level;
- Covered shoes and slip-on must be worn to complement dressing;
- Traditional dresses can be worn during the weekend from Friday – Sunday;
- Wearing of slippers to official functions is not allowed;
- Wearing of T-Shirts to official functions is not allowed; these can only be worn for sports and in the hostel;
- For those wearing natural hair, the hair must be neatly plaited, braided with or without attachment or worn with moderate length and combed frequently;
The following are prohibited:
- Inappropriate clothing such as sleeveless dresses exposing the chest and top parts, spaghetti/strapless tops, lace materials without lining or inner wears, that reveal the body;
- High heeled or stiletto shoes that can distract attention during lectures/examinations and Chapel services;
- Clinging and shape revealing dresses and trousers, blouses/shirts/tops, off-shoulder wears;
- Front/back Slit dresses/skirts reaching above the knees;
- Tinted and weird hairstyles, long attachment reaching beyond the shoulder, coloured attachment,
- Loud and dangling earrings, leg chains, waist beads,
- Long, painted and fixed nails; false eyelashes, more than one piercing in each ear; face make-up
- Tattoo on any part of the body.
